Contest
They are something really special for me. I get high-spirited if I can show the world what I´m capable to do on a board. When I started competitions I was still very young and therefore I got already quite some experience.
The year 2014 was special for me, as it was the first year, I did the full tour of the PWA circuit. At the first three contests – Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Klitmoller - I got ranked on 9th place. For the 2014 PWA worldtour overall wave ranking I finished on 14th place.
On top of that I am the 2014 PWA Youth Wave Worldchampion!
Freesailing
His free wavesailing has an unique style and saved him reputation from the top riders. His onshore waveriding appears with ease as if there would be sideshore conditions. Even as a spectator you feel, that Moritz has found his very own way (language) to express himself on any wave – the bigger, the better! You could understand his true love for riding waves already when he showed up at the age of twelve!
Windsurf
At the age of 5 I stepped the first time on a windsurfing board and I was hooked on it right away. I can´t imagine for myself a life without windsurfing because it gives me the feeling of total freedom. To get accelarated from a powerfull wave, the airtime at a jump or the rollercoaster feeling in maneuvres: all this create a feeling of happiness I could not achieve anywhere else.
